Many stray and surrendered animals have been neglected and need much more than just basic vet care. Most need to be spayed or neutered and a microchip is a must so if they are lost, they have a much better chance of finding their way back home.

Most adoption fees do not cover medical and shelter transportation costs for the animals. Heartworm, which will kill a dog, costs $450.00 and up for treatment. We get many animals with skin conditions that need antibiotics and other medications to get them healthy.

We are also a member of ResQwalk. It is an app that can be downloaded to your phone. You add us as the rescue you are walking for and just start walking and earning us donation money. Even if you walk or exercise without an animal, you can still use the app.

Our mission is to save animals and to fit them with the perfect families. We understand that there are many types of loving homes: houses, condos, city life/country life. On top of that, we know there are many lifestyles which might require an animal to like water, to love hiking, or possibly be a playmate for another animal. No matter what your lifestyle encompasses, we will work with you to find the perfect partner, (or two!). Our animals must be a part of the family, meaning they live indoors within the family home. We do a home check, where all that spend time in the household must be present. Once the steps are completed, you will be allowed to adopt the animal.
