Meet Summer! Summer is a sweet girl that we think might have lived on a chain her whole life. She gave birth, at the rescue, to 10 puppies. Her puppies are now in foster homes, and we are waiting for Summer’s milk to dry up so we can get her spayed. No More Babies for Her! We are pretty sure she is a Lab/Hound mix and just as sweet as can be. All Summer wants to do is please people that have helped her. She wags her tail at every person she meets. She is a bit scared of the leash (guessing it brings back memories of her life at the end of a chain) but she is learning. She is house trained, crate trained and has not chewed anything at the rescue, ever. In her pictures you will see that she is not totally dried up, but her nipples will recede over time.
Summer will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines before adoption.
