Lilac is about 3 years old and believed to be an American Foxhound mix. She came to rescue from a high kill shelter in North Carolina.

She is a very sweet girl and loves attention. She is learning how to live indoors. We are working on house training and she is doing well.

Lilac was limping and we found out she has a torn ACL. She needs to gain a bit more weight and will be ready for surgery on Jan 16. We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt for Lilac – it would need to be local to our rescue and Nonantum Vet Clinic.

Lilac does climb fences, so she would either need a 6-foot stockade fence or to be leash-walked.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. If you are interested in Lilac, please fill out an application at www.itavar.com. Once we receive your application, we will contact you for a meet and greet.
